INCAE's Research Center

About Us

INCAE's Research Center (RC) is one of two research branches of the Institute. Its main goal is researching and publishing on topics that are highly meaningful to Latin American managers. The Center was founded in 1963, when Professor George Lodge of Harvard Business School (HBS) and other nine researchers carried out research and wrote the first case studies ever written in Central America . Since then, INCAE's Research Center has published over 3,500 case studies, teaching notes and exercises. Over the last few years, the Center has produced, on average, 80 case studies per year. Also, it has over 14.000 case studies, both from HBS and from other renowned business schools all over the world. The Research Center is managed by INCAE's Dean and it is staffed by both full-time and temporary researchers. The research job is carried out under the direction of INCAE faculty members and it focuses on different aspects of the Latin American business reality. First-hand knowledge from research results in improved seminars and MBA programs offered by INCAE.
