This document is an economic study about creating a fish storage center on Isabela Island in the Galapagos to regulate the catch type and volume, as well as protect white fishing areas. Lacking a storage center has placed more pressure on catching species such as sea cucumbers and lobster. The objective of installing the storage center is to increase the quality of life for the fishing partners through processing and marketing their products and, in turn, reduce pressure on the lobster and sea cucumber populations. This study presents an analysis of the market, financing, and economic environment where the project will be developed, as well as any pertinent recommendations for implementation.
