This document describes the Corporate Action Center (CENTRARSE in Spanish) in Guatemala and its conceptual framework and strategy for promoting the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) concept for companies in Guatemala. It uses specific cases about real companies as a means of illustrating each of the principles upon which the model is based: values and transparency, internal players, vendors, customers/clients, community, the environment, and the state. Success factors, difficulties and the implementation process are identified.
