INCAE has forty years working in the region and in other Latin American countries, all this work has made the institute a fundamental support for The Latin American Center for Competitiveness and Sustainable Development through its elite faculty, who constantly participate in the Center's activities.
INCAE relies on a body of first-rate professors who work full-time at the institution. Porter has been a constant contributor, as much for the Central American Agenda for Competitiveness for the 21st Century, as well as other projects. Jeffrey D. Sachs is the Director of The Earth Institute, Quetelet Professor of Sustainable Development, and Professor of Health Policy and Management at Columbia University, and a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research. He is also Special Advisor to United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan on a group of poverty alleviation initiatives called the Millennium Development Goals. Mitchel Resnick, direct the Lifelong Kindergarten research group at the Media Laboratory at MIT. In his research, he develop new technologies to help people (particularly children) learn new things in new ways. His research interests include: Learning through Designing and Bridging the Digital Divide were Prof. Resnick co-founded the Computer Clubhouse project, a network of after-school learning centers where youth from under-served communities work together on projects based on their own interests, learning to express themselves with new technologies. ALUDES is a bridge to harness the relationship and academic exchange among the Latin American and European universities.
