Will someone pick me up at the airport?
Yes. The INCAE office secretary should send us the itinerary for your first arrival on campus, and later you can tell us when you will be arriving (the following times).
Who will greet me upon my arrival on campus?
The guards are stationed at the campus entrance. A security guard will give you an envelope with the keys to your house, mailbox and a timeline of activities for the first week. S/he will tell you where your house is located.
How should I dress for class?
Dress is casual. Khaki pants and a T-shirt or Polo shirt will be fine. We recommend you bring a sweater or jacket since the classrooms have air conditioning.
Once I get to campus, where can I buy personal items that I might have forgotten?
The campus has a store where you can buy articles to meet your basic needs.
Where do I pick up my course materials?
The Executive MBA secretary will provide you with materials upon your arrival.
Where do I pay?
The first payment should be made at the INCAE office in your country. We recommend that you also make the following payments there. You may also pay directly at INCAE.
What is the address to receive correspondence?
The Post Office box for the campus is: 2485 Managua, Nicaragua. The mail should have your name, house number and PO Box number written clearly on it.
Do I need to have a laptop?

How are the houses furnished?
The houses come equipped with a made-up bed, lamp, nightstand and ceiling fan.
How much do I have to pay to be assigned a single-occupancy room?
The cost of a single-occupancy room is 50% more than the Masters housing fee. It is important to know that even with an individual room, you will still have to share a bathroom.
What day should I arrive on campus?
The Executive MBA week begins on Thursday and ends the following Wednesday. You should always arrive on campus on the Wednesday prior and leave the following Thursday in the morning. If you would like to come earlier or stay later, please let us know beforehand and pay the approximately US $20 daily fee for housing.
Are dining services offered?
Dining services are offered from the Wednesday of your arrival to the following Wednesday. Thursday meals are not included. If you would like to have breakfast, you may buy something in the convenience store. If you would like to have lunch, you may buy meal tickets at the store as well, to eat with the regular Masters program students. The meal ticket costs approximately US $4.50.
Do I have to buy medical insurance?
If you have medical insurance that covers you in Nicaragua, you should provide us with a copy of your policy so that the ALICO insurance representative may review and approve it. This way, you will not have to pay for insurance. If you do not already have insurance to cover you in Nicaragua, you should pay for ALICO coverage, which costs approximately US $180.
How much time will I spend studying outside of classes?
INCAE’s commitment to the companies where Executive MBA students are working is that it will only interrupt their jobs for the weeks of classes. Therefore, INCAE will not assign homework or group work outside of class time.
