Sustainability

  • Our focus on sustainability, developed from our own research during the past twenty-plus years, is based on the idea that the sustainability of markets, institutions, companies, and economic and human development stems from three main pillars:
    • Analysis of political and economic contexts
      • All INCAE students take at least two courses in economics and one course on context and political analysis and develop themselves in an environment in which important events related to the Latin American countries’ development processes frequently occur.
    • Institutional Innovation and Civil Society
      • Through research and the development of courses in the areas of social responsibility and entrepreneurship, INCAE has created a chance for its students to complement their management training with a better understanding of the social context in which they will work and the different options they will have as a modern manager.
    • Eco-efficiency and Environmental Responsibility
      • All INCAE students take courses on eco-efficiency as part of the program and they have the chance, through elective courses, such as Environmental Management and Strategy, Environmental Evaluations for Projects and others, to immerse themselves in a topic whose growing importance is undeniable.
