Relation with Harvard Business School

INCAE was founded in 1964 through an initiative of the Central American business community, and has received the support of the Harvard Business School (HBS) ever since. The HBS advisory committee, comprised of distinguished Harvard professors, coordinates inter-institutional relations between the university and INCAE, lending assistance and advising on academic matters.

The general structure of the INCAE MBA Program is based on that of the Harvard Business School. INCAE students will learn through the case method created by Harvard, using a significant quantity of study materials and case studies developed by that university. In addition, a large portion of the program’s classes are taught by Ph.D.-level professors from HBS.
