MIAM is part of an agreement between INCAE Business School and CATIE, the Tropical Agronomic Center for Research and Teaching. The program is designed for students to make the most of each institution’s study system and program:

• One month in an introductory course at CATIE: Rural Business Development in a Sustainable Development Context.
• Nine months at INCAE Business School focusing on business administration basics.
• Four months at CATIE with an emphasis on supply and value chain concepts and methodologies in developing specific sectors.
• Four months in an internship at companies belonging, or with potential to belong, to an international supply or value chain.
