The first meeting of the Central American Healthcare Initiative (CAHI) was held on June 28th at the INCAE Business School's Walter Kissling Gam campus in Costa Rica. CAHI began in 2012 as an initiative of philanthropists Elizabeth and Robert Jeffe, who met with international and regional experts who were interested in improving healthcare in Central America

 

30 professionals graduate from the first Modular PAG

Los nuevos graduados son de ocho países de América Latina y el Caribe.INCAE, June 27, 2013. Thirty private sector professionals from eight countries in Latin America and the Caribbean graduated yesterday, June 26th, from the INCAE Business School's first Modular Advanced Management Program (PAG). The new Incaistas received their degrees at a ceremony held at the Walter Kissling Gam campus in Costa Rica. The PAG's academic director, Dr. Esteban Brenes and Dean of Executive Programs, Dr. Camelia Ilie, were present at the ceremony. The PAG offers two different modalities, to give participants the best possible options.

INCAE, June 26, 2013. Researcher Jorge Vinicio Murillo, from the INCAE Business School's LatinLa actividad se lleva a cabo en Cali, Colombia, y reúne a 40 expertos internacionales,  25 alcaldes de distintas zonas de ese país y de Latinoamérica, y a 500 participantes. American Center for Competitiveness and Sustainable Development (CLACDS), took part in the international conference-workshop, "Comprehensive Solutions for Preventing Crime and Violence", organized by the World Bank, June 26th-29th.
The activity took place in Cali, Colombia, and brought together 40 international experts, 25 mayors from different parts of this country and Latin America, and 500 participants. The goal was to facilitate dialogue between local authorities and experts, and examine good practices and lessons learned in relation to preventing crime and violence.

INCAE, June 25, 2013. The outlook for relations between Colombia and the countries of CentralEl Rector de INCAE, Dr. Arturo Condo, fue el moderador del panel. A su lado aparece Juan Gómez Martínez, director de El Colombiano y Patricia Cáceres, asesora para asuntos internacionales en Suppla. . America was analyzed by Colombian businesspeople, as part of a panel organized by the Suppla Company and the INCAE Business School, held in Bogotá on June 5th.

The panel, entitled "Opportunities within the Pacific Alliance," took place at the JW Marriott Hotel from 7:30-10:00 am. Participants included Robinson Vásquez, General Manager of Suppla and Juan Gómez Martínez, Director of El Colombiano. The panel was moderated by INCAE President, Dr. Arturo Condo.

El profesor Lawrence Pratt analizó el tema sobre desarrollo sostenible y turismo rural junto a los participantes.INCAE, June 25, 2013. Six functionaries from the Center for Competitiveness of the Universidad de Talca, Chile, and a representative from the Regional Council of the Maule region, took part this week in the seminar, "Competitiveness with a Focus on Rural Development and Public Policies," taught by the INCAE Business School's Latin American Center for Competitiveness and Sustainable Development (CLACDS).
