INCAE offers scholarships for women who wish to study an MBA

INCAE, December 12, 2011. INCAE Business School is offering scholarships for women of any country in the world who wish to study the MBA program beginning in February 2012, in Francisco de Sola campus in Nicaragua.
The Beca Mujer (Women Scholarship) will be awarded to six women who have a history of academic excellence and have a demonstrated financial need.
INCAE will grant scholarships of the equivalent of 50% of the cost of tuition and students must finance the difference and the rest of the program fee. Applications will be accepted until January 16, 2012.
As stated by the Rector, Arturo Condo, INCAE is committed to the recruitment and training of female leaders. "We are the first business school in Latin America to have courses specifically designed to take into account the leading barriers and opportunities women face. We also have a goal of achieving 50% of our full time MBA class, be women, by 2014", he said.
In 2008 INCAE became the only business school in Latin America and one of the first worldwide, to form a center dedicated to advancing and promoting the leadership potential of women. The Center for Women's Leadership is a vital bridge between academic findings, and the highest professional and political transformation of gender diversity.
