INCAE’s Rector and Faculty Dean participated in Business Future of the Americas 2017 Event

ForoINCAE Rector Enrique Bolaños and Faculty Dean Alberto Trejos took part in the Business Future of the Americas Conference, the main annual event of the Association of American Chambers of Commerce in Latin America and the Caribbean (AACCLA), with some three million members. Business Future of the Americas was jointly sponsored by AmCham Nicaragua and the United States Chamber of Commerce and took place for the first time in Nicaragua on June 3-7.

It brought together representatives of the public sector including President Daniel Ortega Saavedra and businesspeople from the entire region as well as from the United States, in addition to all 24 AACCLA chambers accounting for about 20,000 companies throughout the Western Hemisphere.

campus francisco graduateAfter 14 months filled with much effort and study 85 students completed their 2017 MBA Program. They were 34 women and 51 men from 10 countries including Bolivia, Panama, Peru, Ecuador, and El Salvador, among others, who received their diplomas from INCAE last June 2 at Campus Francisco de Sola in Nicaragua.

Study time, consulting, exams, presentations, and classroom projects left a mark in their lives. Also, living on campus resulted in a close relationship among them and special affection toward INCAE. No doubt the INCAE family has more members now.

FullSizeRender 11Once again INCAE took pride in graduating 106 new MBA students from the 2017 Class last May 26 at Campus Walter Kissling Gam in Alajuela, Costa Rica.

The new graduates celebrated along with relatives and Faculty members who supported them throughout the 21-month long program.

The group of 32 women and 74 men from 17 different countries (including Panama, Honduras, United States, Peru, Germany, Switzerland, France, Venezuela, and Argentina, among others) completed a stage of their lives marked by the acquisition of new tools, learning about different cultures and living a unique on-campus experience for almost two years.

MCP Costa Rica - INCAE-1Students Alba Melgar, Kareem Stephenson, Rubén Zaldana, Walter Reyes, and Cristina Vásquez of INCAE 2017 MBA were recognized for being among the top eight 2017 Management Consulting Project (MCP) members. The recognition took place during the closing dinner of the consultancy held last May 22 at Campus Francisco de Sola in Nicaragua.

They performed their MCP at Fundación Parque Metropolitano La Libertad in San José, Costa Rica. For the first time in INCAE history, the Strachan Chair sponsored three MCP participants. According to Strachan Chair Andrea Prado, the goal is to encourage students to exercise leadership
