Launch of the CAHI 2015 Innovative Leaders Program.
With the goal of promoting innovation and access to quality healthcare in Central America, the Central American Healthcare Initiative (CAHI), in alliance with INCAE Business School, will initiate its admission process for their 2015 Innovative Leader Program on October 1st.
The CAHI Innovative Leaders Program seeks to provide the necessary tools and support required for the implementation, scalability and/or replication of innovative, social projects that solve pressing challenges in healthcare delivery among vulnerable populations in Central America.
It is directed toward professionally mature people that are already pioneering, a health project or initiative, have demonstrated leadership skills and are committed to the improvement of health services in Central America. In this second CAHI class, 12 candidates from 6 Central American countries (CA6) who best fulfill the profile and established criteria will be chosen.
The program lasts 9 months and is composed of 4 modules of face-to-face training and 6 seminars online. It will begin the April 16th, 2015 with the first in-residence training module at the Walter Kissling Gam Campus, INCAE Costa Rica. An additional 3 face-to-face sessions will be carried out in Guatemala and Nicaragua.
The CAHI Innovative Leaders Program has a high total cost, however INCAE donors and patrons subsidize it so the only payment that the admitted person must pay is US $1,200 to cover enrollment, materials, travel expenses, food and lodging.
The applications will open October 1st, 2014 until January 10th, 2015.
