World-renowned business guru Pankaj Ghemawat to lecture at INCAE

Business guru Dr. Pankaj Ghemawat will lecture twice next December 14th on The Reality on Globalization and Business Strategy at Hotel Real Intercontinental in San José, Costa Rica. This event is intended for entrepreneurs and leaders of the region.

Dr. Ghemawat's first lecture will focus on macro aspects such as the short- and medium-term impact of major changes in the global environment, stressing the election of Donald Trump as president of the United States.

The second lecture will deal with the micro perspective, focusing on the implications of globalization laws for business decision making.

Dr. Ghemawat is a Global Professor of Management and Strategy and Director of the Center for the Globalization of Education and Management at the New York University's Stern School of Business.

Likewise, he is Anselmo Rubiralta Professor of Global Strategy at IESE Business School and author of the DHL's Global Connectivity Index. He is one of the leading business gurus worldwide according to the Ranking Thinkers50 and one of the best-selling authors on management topics worldwide with more than 100 articles and seven books published.

From 1983 to 2008 he was faculty member of Harvard Business School. In 1991, he was the youngest full professor ever appointed in Harvard. He was also the youngest guru included in the directory of great management thinkers of all times published by The Economist in 2008.

His book World 3.0 won several awards, including the Thinkers50 Book Award to the best business book published in 2010-11, the Axiom Business Book Gold Award in the International Business/Globalization category, and the IESE Alumni Research Excellence Award.
