National Dialogue between Nicaraguan Government and Alianza Cívica por la Justicia y la Democracia
National discussions between the Government of Nicaragua and the Alianza Cívica por la Justicia y la Democracia will be held on INCAE Campus Francisco de Sola starting February 27th, 2019.
Upon request of participants, INCAE will provide its campus in view of the importance of these discussions for the future of Nicaragua. By doing so, INCAE is acting in line with is mission to help develop the countries it serves through leader training, research, and promotion of dialogue between sectors."
For over 50 years INCAE has been instrumental in developing processes with regional impact. Examples include,
Serving as advisory center to rebuild the country after the Managua earthquake in 1973.
The 1988 Central American Presidential Summit for Peace Negotiations at INCAE’s campus in Costa Rica.
From 1995 on INCAE engaged in developing the Competitiveness Index, the concept of sustainability and, more recently, the Social Progress Index through its Latin American Center for Competitiveness and Sustainable Development (CLACDS).
From 2003 to 2005 INCAE took part in CAFTA negotiations.
INCAE is committed to contributing to regional development and will continue to make efforts in order to support this mission.
