Sergio Restrepo | INCAE


Sergio Restrepo is a digital marketing expert by practice who understands how to craft  global and local digital strategies. After ten years working in digital marketing, Sergio understands just what makes customers tick and that is an authentic and human connection with brands. With a passion for entrepreneurship, Sergio Restrepo has cemented himself as one of the key players in the global digital marketing sphere building strong development strategies and integrating creative digital solutions for brands requiring multilingual and multicultural expertise . Sergio understands what is required technically behind the scenes for a brand to provide the best authentic customer experience possible from a centralized global perspective. Sergio founded a core digital agency in 2007, that grew to over 250 employees and sold later in 2014 to a global marketing holding. Since then he has started and sold other ventures leveraged by the technology component. He has developed digital marketing strategies in new and existing market territories for dozens of global brands including Nestle, 3M, New Balance, Sab Miller, Honda, and Johnson & Johnson, to mention a few. Sergio worked with Lionbridge the global leader in language localization supporting the Global Digital Marketing Services division until late 2018. Sergio is an invited professor in digital marketing and digital transformation at IESE Business School (SPAIN) , Georgetown University (USA), Boston University (USA) and INCAE Business School (Costa Rica). He is currently dedicated to marketing automation and digital transformation consultancy.  Sergio lives in New York city and San José Costa Rica.
