He has a doctoral degree in environmental resources economics and a masters in agricultural sciences with emphasis in economics, both from Hohenheim University, Germany. Dr. Barahona is Associate Professor of Management of Technology and Innovation at INCAE the leading Business School in Latin America, where he also serves as the Academic Director of the Executive Master in Marketing and Digital Transformation.
Currently, Dr. Barahona´s research interest is focused on the role of informal social networks and the study of subjectivity to improve adoption of digital solutions within the firm, manage change and build a culture of innovation.
Silke Bucher, a German and Swiss citizen, is Assistant Professor at INCAE Business School with an interest in Organizational Behavior and Leadership. She received her Ph.D. from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, was a post-doctoral fellow at the Chair for Strategic Management in Pluralistic Settings at HEC Montréal, Canada, and worked as an expert consultant at McKinsey & Company, Costa Rica
Arnoldo Camacho is from Costa Rica and specializes in banking, finance and microeconomics. He is the author of two books about financial markets and has written several case studies.
He’s a specialist in innovation management, business competitiveness, and business in emerging economies. He has over twenty-five years of experience in teaching, research, consulting, and management of academic institutions. He has been an advisor to different governments in the region (Brasil, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela and several Caribbean countries).
