Guillermo Cardoza | INCAE Master Programs


He’s a specialist in innovation management, business competitiveness, and business in emerging economies. He has over twenty-five years of experience in teaching, research, consulting, and management of academic institutions. He has been an advisor to different governments in the region (Brasil, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela and several Caribbean countries).

He has also been a consultant for international organizations (e.g. UNESCO. TWAS-COSTED and the Association of Caribbean States, ACS). In addition, he has taught in executive education programs, specifically strategy, innovation and international competitiveness courses to multinational companies such as Pfizer, P&G, Roche, Grupo Santander, 3M, Telefonica, Sanitas, Banesto and La Caixa.

He was a Research Fellow at Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, where he conducted research on innovation and competitiveness in emerging economies. During his term as Executive Director of the Latin American Academy of Science - ACAL, he created and directed the Center for Science Studies and Information. He was a professor at IE Business School in Madrid and ran the Euro-Latin America Center.
