Konstantina Tzini


Konstantina, of Greek origin, is a professor at INCAE Business School, in the area of Human Resources. She holds a PhD in Business Studies with specialization in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources.

Her teaching and research interests are at the intersection of ethics, behavioral decision- making and human resource management. She conducts experiments to investigate the drivers of prosocial behaviors as well as unethical behaviors at work, and the effect of emotions on decision making. Her research also focuses on practical interventions aiming to boost positive behaviors in organizations and improve decision-making processes. Her work has been published in prestigious academic journals such as Human Resource Management (FT 50), Journal of Behavioral Decision Making, and has been presented at various conferences.

Before entering academia, Konstantina worked for several years in the financial sector in Greece. Her work experience gave her a close perspective of the turbulent environment of international markets, the business practices, and the challenges faced by executives, managers, and employees in the workplace.

Work Experience

Konstantina worked in the financial sector for almost a decade, specializing in factoring, in leading companies in Greece such as Laiki Factors & Forfaiters SA, Marfin Factors & Forfaiters SA, and EFG Eurobank Factors SA. In her job, she had the opportunity to analyze and manage client accounts of large companies, acquire a global perspective of the international market, and gain a deep knowledge of the regional markets at times of both growth and transition.

Always attracted by academia, she studied her MBA while working and collaborated as a teaching assistant in the MBA and Executive MBA programs at Athens University of Economics and Business. During her doctoral studies at IE University – IE Business School, Konstantina served as teaching assistant in courses of Managerial Decision Making (International MBA), Quantitative Research Methods III (DBA), Talent Management (Master in Management). She currently teaches the courses Managing People and Organizations I and HR Transversal, at INCAE Business School.
