Mauricio Jenkins

Biography

Mauricio Jenkins, associate professor, obtained his Masters and Ph.D. in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis University. He also holds an MBA with Honors from INCAE Business School and a degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad de Costa Rica.

He teaches Finance and International Business courses in the full-time MBA and in business seminars dealing with company valuation, portfolio management, investment projects and finance structuring in countries like Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, The Dominican Republic and Venezuela.

Professor Jenkins has worked as a consultant for the Harvard Institute for International Development (HIID), Costa Rica’s Government, and important companies in the region, especially in topics related to company valuation, investment project evaluation, and development of financial strategies for several companies.
