“The year 2020 will go down in history due to the COVID-19 crisis. At INCAE, we will remember this year as one in which we reached many milestones: the launch of INCAE Online; the shift to virtual key programs such as the Senior Management Program, launched by Harvard more than five decades ago; and having celebrated the first virtual graduation in our history”, stated Camelia Ilie, Dean of INCAE.

A total of 122 professionals graduated from INCAE’s MBA, Executive Master in Business Analytics and Data Management and Executive Master in Marketing and Digital Transformation programs, as more than 1,100 friends and family members tuned in.

“Today, more than ever, our countries need graduates trained and formed to face adversity,” mentioned Enrique Bolaños, President of INCAE, during his speech. Dean Alberto Trejos echoed the sentiment by stating: “INCAE graduates have the necessary tools and values to face the complex environment we are living in. The effects of the pandemic will be different in each country in the region, but I am convinced that our graduates will know how to navigate this crisis by implementing the necessary strategic changes”.

During this emotional ceremony, INCAE thanked the valuable support of its friends and allies who have contributed to scholarship funds and financial aid opportunities for students. Thanks to their support, 65 Full-Time MBA students and 34 Executive students were able to graduate.
