Second Issue of the INCAE Alumni Magazine is out!

INCAE, April 29, 2012. The second issue of the INCAE Business School's Alumni Magazine is now available, and can also be read at: http://www.incae.edu/es/alumni-relations-graduados/alumni-magazine-2013.php. ?This issue, along with the first one and future issues, are dedicated to former students whose work and leadership have influenced and inspired many, according to Sandra Granizo, Director of Alumni Relations. The work of ten Incaistas who work in Colombia is highlighted in this issue: Jorge Hernández, Carlos Ayala, Álvaro Salcedo, Reynaldo González, Ignacio Segares, Fabricio Ponce, Carolina Trejos, Jorge Yanes, Victoria Revelo and Jaime Roldán.
The magazine includes a special report about another successful Incaista, Gilberto Pérezalonso, who received the award for INCAE's Most Distinguished Graduate in 2012. Pérezalonso is a graduate of the MBA VI (Class of 1974), and is currently President of the Board of Directors of Volaris. "The Supermarket Scions" tells the story of two Costa Rican Incaistas, Rodrigo Uribe and Guillermo Alonso, who were responsible for the growth of this country's two largest supermarket chains. Another two Incaistas highlighted in this issue are Jorge Oller, founder of the Grupo Tribu and Mario Morales, founder of Innovare. ? The magazine includes a section on INCAE professors, entitled "Faculty Focus," which narrates the experiences of two faculty members: Nicolás Marín and Francisco de Paula Gutierrez. You can also read news about the Illuminate Campaign, whose goal is to collect $50 million to help insure the school's future and maintain its position as a leading institution. "Gaining Momentum to Close the Gender Gap" contains important information about the work of the Center for Women's Leadership. ? The Alumni Relations Office publishes the magazine two times per year, in Spanish and English, and journalist Ana Coyne edited this issue.
