The European Magazine granted INCAE the Latin America Business School of the Year and Excellence in Executive Education awards when it chose it as top business school in Latin America in its 2019 Global Business & Finance Awards.
Based in London, The European is the magazine of choice in global business and the financial world. It awards recognitions to individuals and organizations nominated by subscribers and who stand out in their markets as pillars for the local and global economy.
The European has been circulating for ten years and is aimed at decision makers around the world. It covers a broad spectrum of business issues worldwide including Energy, Banking and Finance, Transportation, Aviation, Executive Education, Technology, Lifestyle and Business Travel, in partnership with Thomson Reuters and the publication audited by The Professional Publishing Association (PPA). Its awards have been granted for six years.
"I am extremely proud to be selected by such a high-caliber organization as The European to win in these two categories. This shows that our effort and dedication are recognized, and motivates us to maintain our excellence in training future Latin America in our classrooms," said INCAE Rector Enrique Bolaños.
This award is intended to recognize organizations from different sectors around the world including energy, bank and finance, aviation, and technology. A group of 500 global executives is responsible to choose the winners, considering aspects such as corporate governance, innovation, know-how and quality of service, among others.
"Being recognized by Presidents and CEOs who vote independently in the survey conducted by The European encourages us to continue working for the development of Latin America. Thus, INCAE is consolidated as the global Latin American school par excellence," said Dr. Camelia Ilie-Cardoza, INCAE’s Dean of Executive Education.
Besides these distinctions, INCAE has recently been recognized at global and regional level as,
• Top business school in Latin America and #11 in the Americas (Financial Times 2018).
• #1 Executive MBA in Latin America and #49 worldwide (Financial Times 2018).
• #1 full-time MBA in Latin America and #96 worldwide (Financial Times 2019).
• #5 Executive Education worldwide in terms of International participants and faculty diversity (Financial Times 2018).
In addition, in 2018 INCAE obtained AMBA accreditation, positioning itself within the small number of business schools with Triple Crown accreditation (AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS), held only by 2% of the schools in the world.
